Metric narrow-section wedge belts in SPZ, SPA, SPB and SPC profiles, including SPZX–SPCX cogged variants and 3V/5V wedge sizes.
Narrow (wedge) V-belts transmit more power per millimetre of top width than classical sections, which makes them the default choice for compact, higher-speed industrial drives. UMS Transmission carries the Mitsuboshi narrow V-belt range across the metric SPZ (10 mm top width), SPA (13 mm top width), SPB (17 mm top width) and SPC (22 mm top width) sections.
For drives with small pulley diameters, the range includes the cogged raw-edge SPZX, SPAX, SPBX and SPCX variants, and it also covers 3V/3VX and 5V/5VX wedge sizes for equipment specified to the inch-based wedge system. Metric size codes combine the section with the effective (datum) length in millimetres — an SPB1060 is an SPB-section belt with a 1060 mm effective length.
Typical applications include machine tools, HVAC fans, compressors, crushers and heavy plant across industrial, mining and manufacturing sites.
